Russian poet Alexander Pushkin's apartment is located in St. Petersburg. As if we needed to add more romance to these photographs, Pushkin died at age 38 from a duel with a French military officer fought over his wife's honor. The photos above show his study.

This year's Pasadena Showcase House is held at the Cravens Estate, a three story 50 room beauty completed in 1930. The architect, Lewis P. Hobart, was inspired by Chateau Vaux-le-Vicomte, also the inspiration for Versailles.
